Integrating Slack with Rupert allows your automated workflows to be delivered directly to the right Slack channels and recipients. Follow the steps below to securely connect your workspace.

1. Open the Manage Sources Tab

On the left navigation bar in Rupert, click Manage Sources.

2. Select Slack as a New Source

Under the New Sources section, click the Slack icon to begin the connection process.

3. Authorize Rupert to Access Slack

You’ll be redirected to Slack’s authorization page. Here, you’ll review and approve the permissions required for the Rupert app to operate within your workspace.

4. Choose the Correct Slack Workspace

If you’re signed in to multiple Slack workspaces, use the dropdown at the top of the authorization page to select the appropriate workspace. Once selected, click Allow to complete the connection.

🗨️ Note: If You Don’t Have Permission

If you receive a permissions error or do not have the ability to approve new apps, reach out to your IT or Slack admin. Ask them to approve and create the connection on your behalf.
