Once you’re ready to connect, follow these steps:
Go to the Connections page
In the Rupert app, navigate to Connections from the left-hand menu.
You’ll see options for different source types. Click the “+” icon in the Gainsight card.
Fill in the connection details
You'll be asked to provide:Source Name: This is how the connection will appear in Rupert. Use a clear, recognizable name (e.g. "Gainsight CS" or "PX Engagements").
Instance URL: The URL of your Gainsight instance (e.g.
https://your-instance.gainsightcloud.com
).
To find it:Click the search icon in the left menu of Gainsight
Search for "Domains" or go to Administration > General > Domains
Server Key: This is your REST API key, generated from your Gainsight instance.
